April Favourites

happy Monday!  I am yet again EXTREMELY sorry for the lack of posts recently, I have been so busy with family and school stuff but I'm back.  its may which means its time for another one of my monthly favourites.

 i finally got my hands on the pore-fessonial and i love it!

 ladys and gentlemen i have finally found the perfect moisturiser .This leaves my skin really smooth and soft.

macs mahogany is a lovely deep red/ maroon colour it is slightly drying so i always apply some chapstick beforehand. I believe this costs me £12.50 which isn't too bad considering the quality is amazing and its very long lasting.

  I bought a pair of mom jeans from river island and i have bee living in them. They look so cute paired with a plain white tee and converse.

this cuff is from Primark and it was £2! I have going to a lot of family parties recently so this has been a staple. I love how it can jazz up a plain outfit.

 last but not least is the versace bright crystal.  Its a very light and flowery perfume which is perfect for spring! the packaging is also gorgeous.

Morroco Lookbook

last week i went to Marrakech for about 4 days. It was so lovely and the weather was AMAZING. I decided to put together a look book of outfits i wore during my trip. I accidently deleted one picture so sadly there are only 3 outfits! hope you guys enjoy<3

updated make-up routine

So a couple of months ago i posted my make-up routine and since then I have discovered so many new amazing products. I don't wear mascara on a daily basis because its a pain in the ass to get off!

Face

I start off by applying the Benefit pore- fessional in the areas where i feel my pores are the biggest, usually around the nose. It also leaves my face looking matte.

I then start dotting Benefits boi-ing on any redness, marks or pimples. I set my face with the bare minerals mineral veil which by the way I LOVEEEE.

lips

i apply a generous amount of carmex ( just me that loves the tingly sensation at the end? ) and dot macs taupe on my lips .

Arthur's Seat

march favourites

I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently, i have been ill for the past week and I was on  bloggers block but i am back with another one of my monthly favourites!

i am so happy that i finally decided to buy this! I'm pretty sure that i wore this lipstick everyday in march. seriously though if you have a chance to buy it, get it.

 

 

 

this stuff is so powerful! it soothes and moisturises my lips so well ESPECIALLY in the more colder seasons. I love the tingly sensation it gives after applying it!

 

this product is a god send, it leaves my skin so soft and moisturized. it also smells really good.

 

 

although i am not a huge fan of soap and glory this product is truly astonishing and it smells pretty good.

this shirt screams spring! its light, flowy and extremely comfortable. i love wearing a cropped sweater over it and leggings!

healthy banana ice cream

 

 

 

 

so after getting surprised with a nutribullet i knew i HAD to try out the heathy banana ice cream recipe. Its amazing how it tastes and looks like your regular  ice cream but its so much healthier and you only need 2 ingredients.

 

 

 

ingredients:

1  chopped frozen banana

1 tablespoon  of almond milk

 

pop the frozen banana inside your blender, pour in 1 tablespoon of the almond milk, blend up and serve.

mac

 

 

 

after hearing everyone rave about mac i thought i would give it a try!

 

i always thought that mac was this really expensive brand that only mega rich celebrity's use but its really not that expensive considering the quality is AMAZING.

 

 

 

mac taupe

 

 

taupe is such a gorgeous everyday matte reddy brown shade. it looks stunning on the lips and just like any other mac lipstick the packaging is very simple and sleek. even though its matte its very moisturizing.

 

 



mac mahogany

 

 

this lovely lip liner is in the shade mahogany and its a stunning deep red. I am usually more attracted to browny shades so this was a huge step for me! It looks gorgeous on and i am SO excited to wear it.

 

overall i am pleased with the result and will defiantly be coming back for more mac products in the future.

february favourites

 

happy Wednesday, hope you are all having a great march so far. Todays post is a February favourites, February is a short but sweet month which flies as fast as a blink of an eye. I have found lots of amazing products that i just cant wait to share with you<3

lets start off with a mascara, I have been using this everyday since i got it and I LOVE IT! It curls and volumizes my lashes so well( click here for a more in-depth review)

benefits boi-ing concealer is AMAZING .Even though its really thick you can hardly feel it on your face, it also covers pimples and imperfections so well. I highly recommend this product.

I really like smelling nice and i have discovered my two new favourite fragrances. the first one so...? sexy which smells very sweet and flirty, perfect for a night out. The soap and glory super tonic orangeasm fragrance smells like freshly squeezed orange juice and its very fresh which is perfect for the day time.

 this face wash has cleared up my skin so much and also gotten rid of blemishes. Its very thick and creamy and leaves my skin feeling fresh and as smooth as a baby's butt.

little things

 

thought i would share some of my favourite little things.

1) L'Oreal lipstick- amber
i love this lipstick because its a nice everyday colour, it adds some shimmer without looking like you have dumped glitter on your lips.

2) Maybelline fit me concealer- 10
pretty sure i have included this in every single post on my blog. Its just overall great.
i wrote all about it here.

3) balmi lip balm- coconut
i love a good moisturising lip balm, don't you?
I picked this up from boots a couple months ago and this is my second favourite lip balm. its a  good dupe for the eos lip balm.

4) bare minerals correcting concealer- tan
ahhhh this concealer is my FAVOURITE, its has such good coverage and its worth the £20.

5) maxfactor lip liner - mauve moment
i have raved about this product SO much. Its the perfect everyday colour.

6) Justin Bieber- the key
i am not the biggest Justin Bieber fan but when i smelt this in boots i couldn't leave it.
It smells like the perfect perfume. Its girly but sophisticated, perfect for date night. The packaging is so simple but the gold on it catches my eye.

one of the cons of living in the uk is the weather, its always cold( writing this whilst its raining outside) even in the summer there will be the odd shower,  So i have put together some pieces of clothing which is perfect for spring. Goodbye sweaters hello shorts.... not quite.

although i would probably freeze to death wearing this,  it's really pretty soo.. who cares?

I think this paired with high waisted shorts or jeans would look super cute.

doesn't this tee just scream spring? This is perfect for getting ice cream with the girls or a bonfire at the beach.

ahhh i love this. It looks so comfortable and its a dusty rose colour which i am obsessed with at the moment. I love the frill at the bottom, it looks so vintage.

 

4)LILITH Suede Chunky Sandals | Topshop

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate these heels. I am so into chunky heels and these are just heart eyes. I NEED THEM.

 

5)lace top with fringe | h&m

I love lace and i love fringe. When i saw this on the h&m website I got really excited. Its such an elegant piece.

 

6) cream Top with lace | h&m

The thing that caught my eye was the neckline, I love the detail put into it.
