thought i would share some of my favourite little things.

1) L'Oreal lipstick- amber
i love this lipstick because its a nice everyday colour, it adds some shimmer without looking like you have dumped glitter on your lips.

2) Maybelline fit me concealer- 10
pretty sure i have included this in every single post on my blog. Its just overall great.
i wrote all about it here.

3) balmi lip balm- coconut
i love a good moisturising lip balm, don't you?
I picked this up from boots a couple months ago and this is my second favourite lip balm. its a  good dupe for the eos lip balm.

4) bare minerals correcting concealer- tan
ahhhh this concealer is my FAVOURITE, its has such good coverage and its worth the £20.

5) maxfactor lip liner - mauve moment
i have raved about this product SO much. Its the perfect everyday colour.

6) Justin Bieber- the key
i am not the biggest Justin Bieber fan but when i smelt this in boots i couldn't leave it.
It smells like the perfect perfume. Its girly but sophisticated, perfect for date night. The packaging is so simple but the gold on it catches my eye.

h&m and topshop wishlist

one of the cons of living in the uk is the weather, its always cold( writing this whilst its raining outside) even in the summer there will be the odd shower,  So i have put together some pieces of clothing which is perfect for spring. Goodbye sweaters hello shorts.... not quite.

 

 

1. orange crotchet crop top | Topshop

although i would probably freeze to death wearing this,  it's really pretty soo.. who cares?

I think this paired with high waisted shorts or jeans would look super cute.

 

2) scallop frill tee | Topshop

doesn't this tee just scream spring? This is perfect for getting ice cream with the girls or a bonfire at the beach.

 

3)scallop frill tee tank top | Topshop

ahhh i love this. It looks so comfortable and its a dusty rose colour which i am obsessed with at the moment. I love the frill at the bottom, it looks so vintage.

 

4)LILITH Suede Chunky Sandals | Topshop

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate these heels. I am so into chunky heels and these are just heart eyes. I NEED THEM.

 

5)lace top with fringe | h&m

I love lace and i love fringe. When i saw this on the h&m website I got really excited. Its such an elegant piece.

 

6) cream Top with lace | h&m

The thing that caught my eye was the neckline, I love the detail put into it.

When i heard that the new issue of Elle magazine had a free benefit mascara that hasn't even came out yet i ran to the shops in my pyjamas...

PROS

lengthens my lashes

really nice packaging

lifts them

curls them(not a lot)

it doesn't feel heavy

 

cons

nothing..

overall i think this is a great mascara! i will be picking the full size up at the end of February.. now i need to think of a way to get £19.50.

everyday make up

as you can tell from the title, todays post is my everyday makeup. I love buying new products, trying them out and then loving them.

step 1

 

 

i start off by dotting the concealer on any redness or imperfections. this concealer hides all my blemishes so well and if you would like to know more about this product click here. I then blend it into my skin with my ring finger. The bare minerals mineral veil is new to my makeup collection, I have only been using this for about a week and I am already in love with it. I just dab it on with my bare minerals brush on the places I put my concealer.

 

 

 

step 2

 

 

 I curl my lashes and apply a thick coat of 'the falsies' by Maybelline. I love this mascara so much, it adds so much volume and thickens them up whilst not being too clumpy.

 

 

step 3

 

 

 

Last step is lips. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed with it. It moisturises my lips,adds a sheer coral tint to them and smells delish.

january favourites

new year, new makeup right?
I thought I would start a monthly favourites series where I can share all the beauty products I have been loving for the month.

1. Maybelline fit me concealer

 

I have tried out tons of different concealers and I have to say this is the best one. I wrote all about it here.  I bought this in early January and have been using it ever since. it doesn't make me break out which is great and it also has good coverage for only £5.99.

 



 

2. Maybelline the falsies mascara

 

after spending countless of hours watching makeup tutorials on YouTube i noticed that they all used this mascara and it had done wonders to their eyelashes so i bought it and i don't regret it one bit. it makes your lashes long and voluminous without being so clumpy.

 

 

 

 

3. carmex moisturising lip balm

 

okay so correct me if im wrong but i'm pretty sure everyone has carmex. it soothes and moisturises you lips so well. This lip balm has saved my life because during the winter season my lips get so chapped.

 

 

4. maxfactor lipliner in mauve moment 

 

this lip colour is my go to because its so simple. It's a dupe to mac's whirl.  I have been using this everyday and I am surprised there is so much left.

 

 

 

5. Katy Perry royal revolution

this has been a staple for me in the month of January. its got that fresh spring scent to it which I love. if you want to read more about  this fragrance click here.

 

 

 



6. simple hydrating moisturiser

 

last but not least is a skincare product. This has been a lifesaver because my skin gets so dry in the winter. It leaves your skin as smooth as a baby's butt.
